Sarasota's demographic is older and affluent which works very well with the type of magazine that I am producing. Going out for sushi is a very expensive endeavor especially if appetizers are included. The restaurants that I featured in my article were Kazu 2.0 and JPAN. Both of these restaurants have less expensive options and very expensive ones, however, with whatever you order, with multiple meals, appetizers, and drinks, the prices add up. The average age of a Sarasota citizen is 47, which shows the older population of the city. Because of this older demographic, citizens are more likely to go out to eat rather than cook at home.
